Blaire + Taylor met at a bar crawl, St. Louis Bars of Charity where participants offer donation in exchange for a sweatshirt. During that time, Taylor bought the drinks for their table and Blaire introduced herself. After the event, the two kept in touch and dated long distance for 2 years. Eventually, the two relocated to be near each other; Taylor and Blaire have been together for 6 years and the rest is history.

P R O P O S A L

October 9th, 2021

During Blaire and Taylor’s long-distance relationship, Taylor would always pick her up at the train station to go on dates and spend time with each other. On the 9th of October 2021, he took her out on a coffee date and proposed at the same train station 4 years later.

T H E D R E S S

Blaire said ‘yes’ to her dress at Something White Bridal in KC, Missouri. She tried on MILLIE, the first dress, and immediately fell in love with it. To browse other options, she tried on multiple dresses, but she knew MILLIE had captured her heart – “I knew the first one was the one!”

W E D D I N G & R E C E P T I O N

April 30th, 2023, at The Hawthorne House in Parkville, Missouri

Both the wedding and reception were held in the same venue. It was a ballroom filled with chandeliers – a clean and minimalistic venue adorned with cottage florals.

HIGHLIGHTS FROM YOUR SPECIAL DAY

Anecdotes from the Bride:

The guests sang us happy birthday because my birthday was May 1st and Taylor’s was April 27th.
We had photos of loved ones who had either passed away or could not travel in the pews.
An audio guestbook was provided for the guests.
The first look and when we read letters to one other are two of my favourite moments.
Lastly, the DJ gathered everyone for a group photo, and dropped the beat to get the dance floor going!
